Green Economy is the answer to healthy sustainability of our planet. But if we keep taking from nature, at the end it will have nothing left to offer. In line with the founder’s vision to bring balance between leisure living and nature, the FURNITURE FOR TREES project plants a tree FREE OF COST dedicated to the customer placing an order through the #GOODDEGG storefront. The customer is also offered the flexibility of dedicating the tree to a person of his/her choice. A visual record of the sapling is maintained and the same is shared with the customer every alternate quarter for the first twelve months from the planting of the sapling.

Bangladesh is considered as one of the most environment risk prone country of the world. The country is facing spiraling environment risk and fighting a losing battle to reverse deforestation. According to United Nation Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), deforestation rate in Bangladesh is over 3%. This is extremely alarming. Unfortunately the country lacks adequate resources to overcome this challenge. GOODDEGG has joined force in Bangladesh’s fight to reverse deforestation. The online store business has partnered with CHIC Agro a local organization on the northern part of Bangladesh to plant trees for every order placed through the GOODDEGG online store. CHIC is responsible to plant and maintain the trees donated by GOODDEGG as part of its FURNITURE FOR TREES project. The management targets to partner with organizations in other environment risk prone countries to reverse deforestation and bring balance between nature and how we use its resource.
